The Indie Song of the Day comes from Tenderhooks – a colossal 8-piece band from Brighton. The band has been around since 2005 and they’ve released five albums, including their latest, Skeleton Dance. Tenderhooks main focus is crafty fun songs. Frontman Markus Leinweber prides the band crafting “unbearably catchy, singalong, toe tapping, hand clapping, uplifting, joyous tunes. They’re always out to put something together that’s infectious and memorable. Tenderhooks is Leinweber – singer/alto sax, Ben Green – lead guitar, Mike Philips – bass, Paul Wheeler – guitar, Dave Uden – drums, Nick Kreel – keyboards, and Scott and Maria on background vocals and percussion.
