The Indie Song of the Day comes from Surf Cavalier, a 4-piece indie/surf/rock band from the Asheville, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina. They say that their music is meant for the adventurous side of humanity and after listening through their stuff, we tend to agree. Delightfully, we can say their music is all over the place. They write everything from rock to indie pop to a bit of folk/Americana too. It’s like modern day surf rock with big guitars, some organ, harmonies, and a touch of synth in there too. The band’s most recent release is called Rockuluvu and it’s a five-song EP that they released earlier this year.
