The Indie Song of the Day comes from Hamburg band Scotch & Water. The band is an art-driven project that focuses heavily on the artistic integrity in their music. With their latest single, “Moving On” – Scotch & Water was inspired by moving on in life and how letting go of people and different habits is a difficult process. The song comes off their upcoming EP, Never Enough, Always Too Much. On making the song and their EP, the band said: Recording feels like such an adventurous process for us, in which we often don’t really know where the track will take us. Our main goal is to capture a good snapshot of the song and the feelings it triggers. That pressure sometimes lights a fire during recording when we have limited time to get our vision finalized- but in that space is where the real magic happens.
