The Indie Song of the Day comes from Little Us, a mainstream rock act from Connecticut. The band formed in 2013 and with the exception of taking a year off they’ve been going ever since. The band took the year off in 2016, but then came back in 2017 with a fresh approach. The new approach is really more of a new goal; spread a positive message. Specifically, the purpose of their latest EP is to help people that are going through the struggles of coping with depression, suicide, and then acceptance. Little Us has a distinct sound – they grab influences from 80’s rock all the way to 90’s and 2000’s alternative music. Check out the band’s video for their single “Something Real” below.
