The Indie Song of the Day today comes from Nashville based rock artist Kim Logan. She just released a double-sided single called Psuedoscience: Chapter 3 that features the tracks “Ladyboy” and “Hitch Your Wagon” The release is the third addition to her second body of work titled Pseudoscience. She’s been releasing it in installments since late 2016 and shes worked with producers Vance Powell (Jack White) and Brett Orrison (Widespread Panic). Kim comes from a classical background in music, studying at Berklee College of Music and spending a decade in the opera industry. Her background makes for an unconventional sound. She draws from a lot of different genres and influences too everything from glam rock to roots rock.
