The Indie Song of the Day comes from indie duo Jake Is Lloyd. The band released the lead single from their new EP a few months ago called “Madeline” and so far the song has accumulated over a quarter of million streams so far. Jake Is Lloyd is Michael Edwards and Alex Arnaout. Arnaout and Edwards are both from L.A. and they’ve been making music with bedroom studios. The creation of their new EP Prey & Predator was made in the band’s home setup as well. Jake Is Lloyd is influenced by everything from The 1975 to The Band CAMINO to Bon Iver.
