The Indie Song of the Day comes from South Dakota rock band Core. They’re releasing a deluxe edition of their latest album Broken Heart Syndrome coming up on Friday. The original version of the album was released via Turkey Vulture Records, Core is releasing the deluxe edition of the album independently. The original album was released in 2015. Core is for fans of Stand, Sevendust, and Papa Roach. They’re a modern rock act through and through and they’ve opened up for loads of great rock bands including Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Sevendust, Hollywood Undead, Saliva, Trapt, Red Saving Abel, Candlebox and more. Core is a power trio that provides a tight rhythm section and produces a brutal sound that’s balanced by melodic but powerful vocals.
