The Indie Song of the Day today comes from Arizona band Barefoot. It’s another band in our ReverbNation series. Barefoot, not to be confused with the Texas band that was active in the early 2000’s by the same name, consists of vocalist Dylan Fay, drummer Christian Aroz, guitarist Dylan Heinrich, and bassist Patrick Smiley. They’ve been active since 2013 when they released their first EP, a self-titled effort. Since then they’ve released “Charming Souls” in 2014, “Stories to Scare the Young” in 2015, “Yesteryear” in 2016, and “Shook” in 2018. They’ve played a ton of big venues in their native state of Arizona and they’ve opened up shows for Sublime With Rome and The Dirty Heads too. They just released a new EP in September called “Leisure Fever” and that’s what the song we’re featuring is from.
