Better Than Ezra is set to release their new album ‘Before The Robots,’ and for the first single, the band has chosen the track ‘A Lifetime’. A song that was actually on the band’s last album ‘Closer,’ but has been re-recorded for the new album. The band decided to include the track again on the new record, due to the fact that their last record was only promoted for a short period of time before their previous label folded. One of the most memorable tracks from ‘Closer’, the band felt the song never got the opportunity on radio that it deserved. Listen: “A Lifetime” (new recording) The band was signed by Artemis Records late last year, and will be releasing their new album on April 12th. When the band went back into the studio, they re-recorded the song, with subtle changes. With the exception of ‘A Lifetime’ the rest of the tracks from ‘Before the Robots’ are completely new. Better Than Ezra will also be releasing a greatest hits album next month, which will feature tracks from all four of Better Than Ezra’s previous studio albums, and several unreleased remixed tracks and covers.
