Dave Grohl is launching a new Instagram series, sharing true stories from his life.
Looking for a way to spend his time during the coronavirus pandemic quarantine, Dave Grohl is launching a new Instagram series, sharing true stories from his life.
“I’m currently looking for work, so I’d thought I’d pass the time by writing short stories that will make people smile,” the Foo Fighters frontman announced on social media.
He said that the inspiration to write short stories, titled “Dave’s True Stories,” came from his parents.
“My mother was a brilliant English teacher, my father, a wicked speechwriter,” Grohl said. “So I didn’t to rebel by not paying attention to grammar and/or punctuation in school.”
“I look forward to sharing some of the more ridiculous moments of my life,” he added.
Grohl concluded his message by urging his fans to wash their hands, a preventive sanitary measure against coronavirus.
The Foo Fighters have postponed the April dates of their 25th anniversary Van Tour to December due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
