All Time Low wrapped up a three-show mini-residency at New Jersey’s Starland Ballroom last Sunday with a gig that featured a cover of a classic track by local heroes My Chemical Romance. In between tracks from their 2009 album Nothing Personal, ATL mixed in a faithful cover of MCR’s “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” from the album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” was the first song MCR played at their reunion show on December 20 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. MCR have not yet revealed whether they plan to return to their home state of New Jersey on their reunion tour, meaning local fans will have to be satisfied with the ATL cover, at least for now.
