The Indie Song of the Day comes from Againstorm – an alternative metal act from Italy. The band blends alternative metal and grunge influences with modern production and electronic elements. Againstorm is the brainchild of Antonio Lucente, Fabio Mantovani, and Sinziana Gitman. They formed in 2017 after a year of intense songwriting. Then, in June 2018 the band recorded their first full-length album. After recording their album, the band found Davide Pasini and Livio Lita to complete their lineup. In April, the band released their first single “WALKING ON THE FIRE” – and they just released the follow-up single to that track called “Scars” – the song we’re featuring today as the Indie Song of the Day. The debut album from Againstorm, THE LAST DREAM LEFT is set to be released either late in the year this year or early on in 2020.
