Red Hot Chili Peppers are set for a headlining performance at the upcoming Austin City Limits festival. The event will take place over two weekends, October 6th to 8th and 13th to 15th, later this year at Zilker Park in Austin. This year the Peppers will be joined by an all-star lineup including Gorillaz, Chance the Rapper, the Killers, the xx and Martin Garrix. Each year, part of the proceeds of the event go to the revitalization of Austin’s Zilker Park. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the park and the event has already pledged to donate $6.3 million to various causes involving the city’s signature South Austin park.
