In a continued effort to do good and support their local community during the COVID-19 pandemic, punk rock band and Orange County natives The Offspring partnered this week with Mexican grill Chronic Tacos and Gringo Bandito (founded by The Offspring lead singer, Dexter Holland) to serve lunch to qualified local students outside Perry Elementary School in Huntington Beach, as school-sponsored lunch services went on hiatus for Spring Break this week.
Together, they supplied over 400 meals, including a small burrito, chips, salsa and bottled water, out of the popular Chronic Tacos Food Truck.
The food truck was stationed in the school’s parking lot, where The Offspring, Chronic Tacos employees and members of the Huntington Beach School District helped hand out lunches to families of students who rely on school-supplemental meals.
