Fresh off their five explosive sets at SXSW, of which Hits Magazine noted, “the world may be on the way to catching up with this blistering guitar and feral hooks,” and an intimate six-city, sold-out album release tour in celebration of their debut full-length album, Hear Me Out, the three-piece rock ‘n’ roll band has revealed their spring touring plans, along with an appearance at this summer’s Woodstock 50, and has announced the vinyl edition of the critically-acclaimed new album will be released on Friday, April 12th, just in time for Record Store Day.
Hear Me Out, released independently on March 1st, has been receiving rave reviews across the board, with some critics already calling it a top album of 2019. The album, a mainstay in the top 10 for independent record retailers throughout the country, features 10 blistering new songs from the trio including the singles “Black and Red” and “Over & Over,” the latter of which has been featured in multiple top Spotify playlists since its release including New Music Friday, New Noise, Dirty Rock, and Modern Rock. Hear Me Out was mixed by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Depeche Mode), Mario Caldato Jr. (Beastie Boys), Vance Powell (White Stripes, Chris Stapleton) and Tchad Blake (Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Jeff Buckley, Cage The Elephant), and recorded in Saskatoon (Canada), Los Angeles and Seattle.
The band’s upcoming spring tour dates will feature a mix of club shows and festival appearances, starting with a headlining set at Pappy & Harriet’s in Joshua Tree, CA on April 11th. Reignwolf also stops in Jackson, MS, Memphis, TN, Chattanooga, TN and Madison, WI throughout May for headlining shows, and will make a special stop back in Chicago on June 1st to open for Wu-Tang Clan at the Aragon Ballroom. For those attending Welcome to Rockville (Jacksonville, FL), Epicenter Festival (Rockingham, NC), Bunbury Music Festival (Cincinnati, OH) and Woodstock 50 (Watkins Glen, NY), make sure to catch their high-octane set.
