Fresh off a U.K./European outing with Tove Lo, Broods announced their own North American headline tour. The outing will kick off on May 26 at Chicago’s House of Blues.
The duo – composed of siblings Georgia and Caleb Nott – will make its Coachella debut, performing on April 14 and 21. Broods will also open for Empire Of The Sun at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix (April 18) and Los Angeles’ historic Shrine Exposition Hall (April 19).
The spring dates follow Broods’ sold-out 2016 U.S. headline tour in support of their new album,Conscious (Capitol Records), which debuted in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Alternative Albums chart.
PopMatters hailed Conscious as an album “that commands attention from its first wail to its last syllable” and DIY Magazine pronounced it “sleek, elegant but neck deep in gory realities.” AllMusic said, “Conscious builds on the promise of their debut and goes well beyond with a tight vision of a glimmering pop future for the Notts.”
