Pearl Jam has honored late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell at Seattle’s Safeco Field Friday night during the band’s second Home Show concert. Pearl Jam debuted “Missing” from the late musician’s 1992 album Poncier. Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil along with Mark Arm and Steve Turner, members of Mudhoney, joined Peral Jam for the encore during the more than 3 hour long concert. Proceeds from Pearl Jam’s two-night Home Show will go to Seattle’s homeless. The first show, which was held on Wednesday, raised more than $1 million, according to Rolling Stone. The concert was Pearl Jam’s first hometown performance in five years, and the group’s first since the death of Chris Cornel. The band now heads to Missoula for a series of away shows.
