Indie rockers Vampire Weekend have revealed the supporting acts for their extensive North American tour in support of their upcoming album, Father of the Bride. Chicano Batman are scheduled to join Vampire Weekend throughout the month of June, while guitarist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram will open for the band from on dates in August and early September. Singer-songwriter Soccer Mommy will finish off the tour with Vampire Weekend, which wraps up in Denver, Colorado, on October 8. Additionally, Angélique Kidjo and Despot will open the band’s show at Madison Square Garden on September 6, and Tinariwen and Richard Pictures will play at the Hollywood Bowl show on October 2.
