The venue made the announcement on Twitter, saying, “Reminder for @twentyonepilots fans: Due to the needs by the league for the technical load-in & set up for the NBA Finals, the concert on 5/29 has been cancelled.”
Tickets will be automatically refunded, and ticket holders will get a code for a chance to purchase tickets to the show on May 28.
The Toronto Raptors earned a trip to the NBA finals with a thrilling win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.
The musical duo from Columbus, Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun took the news in good spirit, sending out congratulations to the home team on Twitter.
“congrats @Raptors on making the finals. this means we have to cancel night number two of our toronto shows for the @NBA to have arena access,” they tweeted Sunday.
