Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith did not take too kindly to being called Will Ferrell during a recent performance at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. After initially telling the heckler to ‘shut up,’ Smith knocked away his microphone and stormed off the stage. He returned after a few minutes. “Listen, are you a musician? You’re a drummer? Why did you say that? Because you love me? You love me and go ‘oh Will Ferrell!’ I’m not Will Ferrell, you idiot,” Smith said upon returning to the stage. “Nah I’m just f**king with you. I don’t give a s**t, I think it’s great! I’m f**king famous because of Will Ferrell. F**k that guy, right!
