Panic! At The Disco will pay tribute to legendary British rock band Queen at the 2018 American Music Awards.
The multi-platinum selling band will perform the most popular Queen hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on October 9.
“Bohemian Rhapsody,” penned by Freddie Mercury in 1975, is also the title of the upcoming Queen biopic, scheduled for release on November 2.
“If there is one song that I wish I would’ve written myself, it’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,'” according to the lead vocalist of Panic! at the Disco, Brendon Urie. “Freddie Mercury’s genius is clear from the very first note to the last and I’m honored to be able to pay tribute to Queen with my performance,” he said in a press release.
