Matt Bellamy, the lead singer of English rock band Muse, appears to have let slip that the band will be performing at Lollapalooza in Chicago in 2017. In response to a fan question on Twitter regarding whether the band would be playing the festival, Bellamy stated, “Yeah I think so.” There are currently no tour dates listed on the band’s official website.
Muse is also reportedly working on a new album. The album, which would be the band’s eighth studio effort, is also expected to be acoustic. Bellamy tweeted on November 9, “may have to dust off the old acoustic guitar, been a while.”
The band’s previous album was Drones, which was released back in June 2015. The album won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2016.
