Butch Walker will make his national television debut this Tuesday, February 3rd on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with a performance of his new single ‘Here Comes The…’ Walker will perform the song with Pink, who also appears on the album version of the song. While Walker’s target audience might not be avid watchers of Ellen, Walker is still grateful to have the opportunity to play for a national television audience. “If you would have asked me 10 years ago if I would ever play my song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and have someone named Pink guest sing it with me, well… I might have called you silly,” joked Walker in a recent post on his website. “But alas, I have been called to do it, so why not, right? Sounds fun. And plus, my mom will be stoked!” Walker first worked with Pink on her album Funhouse released last year. Walker has also written Katy Perry’s latest single ‘Thinking Of You,’ as well as Secondhand Serenade smash ‘Fall For You.’ He recently completed work with Dashboard Confessional on their next album and had the unique experience of working with the all-star cast of Cee-Lo, Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, Janelle Monet, Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes and Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco on the new global theme for Coca Cola, ‘Open Happiness.’ Walker is currently on tour supporting his latest album Sycamore Meadows, which has received rave reviews from Billboard and USA Today.
