Brandon Boyd of Incubus has denied claims that he has threatened to kill a reality TV star. Boyd issued a statement through his representative in which he refutes stalking claims made by Svetlana Shusterman, who appeared on the MTV reality TV show Real World 17: Key West. In the statement, the representative noted: that he has no relationship with Shusterman: “Brandon has been advised about this but doesn’t know anything about it. He doesn’t know this person nor does he recall ever having met her.” Shusterman obtained a restraining order against Boyd, which states he must stay at least 100 yards away from her pending a court case for stalking. Shusterman said Boyd has stalked her for years, most recently following her in his car and shouting that he was going to kill her. She has also moved to a friend’s home to evade Boyd, who allegedly also found her there, noting: “Every day, I am terrified.” The last album recorded by Incubus was 2011’s If Not Now, When?
