Foo Fighters are recording their upcoming album at Rancho de la Luna Studios in Joshua Tree, California. Dave Catching, owner of the lab, posted pics of Dave Grohl and crew hard at work on his Instagram account. One photo shows Grohl holding a long rifle with a menacing grin on his face, while another features the band posing against a mountainous backdrop. “We’re doing something that nobody knows about, it’s f*cking rad,” Grohl previously told Rolling Stone of the band’s upcoming album. “We begin recording soon, but we’re doing it in a way that no one’s done before and we’re writing the album in a way that I don’t think has been done before,” he added. The Foos have also been spotted doing session work in Nashville and Chicago, recording the follow-up to 2011’s Wasting Light
