Blink-182's Travis Barker tops Billboard's Rock Producers chart dated June 6.
Blink-182’s Travis Barker tops Billboard’s Rock Producers chart dated June 6, hitting the No. 1 spot for the first time thanks to three of his productions finding their way into the latest Hot Rock Songs chart.
Machine Gun Kelly’s “Bloody Valentine,” produced solely by Barker rose to No. 3 on the latest Hot Rock Songs list. According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, the song logged 5.2 million U.S. streams in the tracking week, up 137% from a week earlier, and saw an increase of 29% in downloads, at 4,000.
“jxdn,” produced by Barker along with Keith Varon, rose to No. 5 on the Hot Rock Songs list, while “iann dior,” in which he featured alongside Machine Gun Kelly and “Sick And Tired” (Omer Fedi), ranked No. 12.
Barker, who also co-wrote all three songs, advanced 5-2 on the Rock Songwriters chart. He once topped the Songwriters chart for a week in October 2019, after being credited on 14 of Blink182’s songs and a credit on “I Think I’m OKAY,” which he co-wrote with Machine Gun Kelly and Yungblud.
The weekly Rock Songwriters and Rock Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot Rock Songs chart; As with Billboard’s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
