The band will also be performing at a number of upcoming festivals, including Okeechobee, FL’s Okeechobee Music Festival (March 1st), Guadalajara, MX’s Anagrama Festival (March 25th), San Antonio, TX’s Maverick Music Festival (April 7th), Knoxville, TN’s Rhythm ‘n’ Blooms Music Festival (April 9th), Gulf Shores, AL’s Hangout Music Fest (May 19th), and Cleveland, OH’s LaureLive (June 11th).
The Home of the Strange Tour celebrates Young The Giant’s third studio album, “HOME OF THE STRANGE,” which immediately ascended to #1 on the iTunes Store’s “Top Alternative Albums” chart and #3 on the overall “Top Albums” chart upon its release last August. The band heralded the release with a number of high profile television appearances, including an outdoor concert on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and as one of the select artists on the fall season of critically acclaimed series “Live from the Artists Den” alongside Sturgill Simpson, Panic! at the Disco, and Lumineers. The tour’s first leg saw the band performing to sell out houses across the continent, including stops at such world famous venues as New York’s Radio City Music Hall and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Young the Giant recently commemorated the tour with an exclusive video recap of their extraordinary 2016, streaming now at the band’s official YouTube channel.
