The Unlikely Candidates have just released the lyric video for their hit song, “Novocaine”. The unique lyric video was filmed in lead guitarist, Brent Carney’s, Dad’s bar in Fort Worth Texas and fast forwards through a night of drinking by the bar all while the catchy lyrics of “Novocaine” appear on the screen. Novocaine” skyrocketed in popularity since the music video was released a couple months ago, garnering over 5.2 million views on YouTube and over 9 million worldwide streams to date. The track is also featured in the season 4 trailer of HULU’s popular TV show Veronica Mars. “Novocaine” is currently climbing the Alternative radio chart at #32 and was New York’s Alt 92.3 “Pick Of The Week”. The Unlikely Candidates are gearing up to hit the road with Mariana’s Trench, followed by a handful of shows with the Goo Goo Dolls. “Novocaine” follows the release of The Unlikely Candidates tracks “Strange Love”, “Oh My Dear Lord”, “Bells”, and “Best I Ever Had”.
