The Indie Song of the Day comes from Kick Me Out, a punk band from The Netherlands. Last month they dropped a four-song EP called No Puppets. Kick Me Out features a woman lead vocalist Nienke Schimmel, Rowan Maris on bass, Boudewijn Jansen on drums, and Leander van Bijnen & Fons van Wegen on guitar. They call their style modern thrash punk and they combine invluences from classic pop punk and metalcore. They say they’re influenced by everyone from All Time Low to Asking Alexandria.
