Saving Abel

If there’s anything that we’ve learned over the past few years it’s that mainstream rock bands are supposed to do three things. 1.) They have to have a song that fits well with Vince McMahon’s WWE. That’s a requirement. It helps the label sell albums to that audience when it’s played during television airings and/or used for theme songs if it’s applicable. 2.) They have to be adamantly supportive of our troops fighting overseas. Everybody supports and respects the troops but these rock bands have to be the voice that most of us don’t have. It’s not a bad thing; it’s just something that’s done with every mainstream-rock band. 3.) The band has to get ‘motley’ on a few songs. Mindless sex songs and/or mindless drug and/or alcohol related content. On Saving Abel’s sophomore record you could predict that these three elements would be present if not dominate.
