Goo Goo Dolls

Gutterflower
Artwork

Its been four years since the Goo Goo Dolls last release, and what a difference four years have made. This Buffalo band has gone from a one hit wonder to one of the most popular pop/rock bands today. On Gutterflower, the Goo Goo Dolls return with another strong album. The opening track "Big Machine" rocks with loud guitars, and great vocals in the same way that the Goo Goo Dolls have been doing for years. They follow that track with a the beautifully written "Think About Me". Just like any Goo Goo Dolls album, the keeps true to their original sound by including a handful of songs sang by bassist Robby Takac, which are nothing special. The albums best song comes later in the album, on the mandolin-driven track "Sympathy." All in all, Gutterflower is sure to blossom a multitude of radio hits.
