Rocco Deluca & The Burden

I Trust You to Kill Me
Artwork

This is really good. I mean really good. Rocco DeLuca is possibly the best artist you’ve never heard of. That’s about to change because the band’s starting to get even more major radio play than before, but seriously check this out. DeLuca and the Burden can appease pretty much everybody on this disc. The artistic/creative fans will be appeased because it’s just that- artistic and creative. The pop fans will love the album because in spots it’s extremely hooky. And the old-school rock fans will dig this disc because it’s the closest thing out that now that sounds like a modernized Zeppelin. Rocco DeLuca rocks, and so does this album. It’s everything I just mentioned and the band’s sound can be likened to Better than Ezra- but with more blues and soul, and there’s nothing wrong with that. There’s actually not a bad track on this disc, there are even a couple of outstanding tracks on the album; the single “Colorful”, the swampy “Dig”, the slow but melodic “Mystified” and definitely the old-school “Gravitate.” If you haven’t done so yet, definitely check out Rocco DeLuca and The Burden.
