Kings of Leon have revealed that they have commenced work on their new album in a 174-year-old mansion outside of Nashville. Speaking with Sirius XM, the band said they fell in love with the building, especially due to the convenience of it being so close to home.
"It's a really rad place and I think we can do something cool with it," Caleb Followill said.
"And you know if we go in there and it sounds like s**t, we can just go across the street to our [Nashville] studio."
Caleb also joked that they are in no particular rush to make the new album.
"Record number seven, most people take like five years to make that or something?" he said. "We're still in our very early stages of our five-year plan for this next record."
