Young the Giant has unveiled a stripped down version of their chart-topping single “Superposition.”

Young the Giant has unveiled a stripped down version of their chart-topping single “Superposition.” Dubbed “Superposition (Reflection),” the track is available now on all streaming services and digital retailers.

Young The Giant frontman Sameer Gadhia said: “Superposition is about finding the common thread that weaves our constant refractions; recognizing the constant that hides behind infinite variations. So why the hell not give you another version of the song—another reflection, if you will? Feel the Superposition stitching us up into one, my friends.”

The original version of “Superposition” – the latest single off of the band’s fourth studio full length “Mirror Master” – held the #1 spot on the Alternative radio chart for 3 consecutive weeks, went top 5 at Triple A and was one of the top 5 rock songs on Shazam. Young The Giant kicked off the new year with a performance of “Superposition” on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” following previous late night television appearances on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and CBS’ “Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Young The Giant will embark on a massive North American co-headlining tour with Elektra labelmates Fitz and the Tantrums, beginning at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, on June 12.
