In anticipation of the US leg of his sold out world tour, multi-platinum Australian singer/songwriter Vance Joy has today released an acoustic version of his single, “Lay It On Me.”
On October 10, Vance Joy will perform the original version of “Lay It On Me” for the first time on national TV on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” The song has held the top spot for 2 weeks at Triple A radio, and is currently at #7 on the Alternative chart.
“Live from the Artists Den” today shared a stirring video of Vance Joy performing “Lay It On Me (Acoustic),” which was filmed at his taping of the show last month in Carmel, CA. Vance Joy’s episode of “Live from the Artists Den” presented by Aston Martin will air as part of the show’s 2018 season.
Next month, Vance Joy will participate as an ambassador in the Polished Man campaign, sponsored by the non-profit YGAP. Running throughout October, the Polished Man campaign celebrates the great men in our society; those who paint a nail, raise funds, raise their voice and actively commit to ending violence against children.
“Lay It On Me” marks Vance Joy’s first release since the hugely successful RIAA certified platinum album dream your life away, which recently surpassed one million in consumption in the US, and featured “fire and the flood,” the platinum song “Mess Is Mine,” and the 4x platinum “Riptide.”
