A pair of previously unreleased Beck songs have reportedly leaked to the web. The two tracks were allegedly recorded for director D.J. Caruso's thriller film I Am Number Four, but the tracks were never used.
Caruso has revealed both of the songs on the web including a track titled "Curfew." Beck made headlines late last year when he revealed that a new album is coming, and it is coming "very soon." Originally scheduled for a release in summer 2015, Beck's follow-up to his Grammy-winning record Morning Phase was pushed back to a November 2016 release, which was never released.
Beck told KROQ that that the album is "forthcoming . . . very soon" and that he's "just finished [it] up." Speaking of the delays, he added: "This record was supposed to come out over the last year, and then I've been touring and doing a million other things."
