Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron and guitarist Kim Thayil will reunite on June 8 at Northside Festival in Denmark. It will be their first performance together since Chris Cornell's death.
Cameron will appear as a special guest of the MC50, a group assembled by original MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer to celebrate the upcoming 50th anniversary of the group's legendary debut album, Kick Out The Jams.
Kramer and the band, which includes Thayil, Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty and King's X bassist Doug Pinnick, will play the album Kick Out The Jams in its entirety.
Chris Cornell was found hanged in a Detroit hotel room in May 2017 after a Soundgarden concert.
Cameron and Thayil had attended a Human Rights Watch charity dinner last fall to support Vicky Cornell as she accepted an award on behalf of her late husband.
It was their first public appearance together since Cornell's death.
