Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was arrested on gun charges at LAX airport as he attempted to board a plane carrying a BB gun, according to TMZ.
Scantlin was arrested and booked for the offense with a bail set at $850,000. TMZ reports that there were other charges as well, but the gun offense is what sparked the arrest. The singer was on his way to Keller, Texas, where the band was set to play a show.
The incident is just the latest in a long list of airport related charges for the embattled singer. In 2012, he was involved in an altercation with a Jet Blue attendant, a canceled show from a missed flight and an arrest for a joyride on a baggage carousel at a Denver airport in 2015.
Puddle of Mudd is next scheduled to perform in Roanoke, Virginia on September 15.
