Muse recently drew over a million total views for its Facebook Live broadcast of its Austin360 Amphitheater concert on June 10, Facebook confirmed to Billboard.
For the unique gig, the band asked viewers to vote on three sets of songs they would like to see performed during their set. "Bliss," "Stockholm Syndrome" and "Undisclosed Desires" received the most votes, and the band included them in their set.
Muse also used a Facebook Live feature that allowed them to schedule their live video in advance to create a virtual lobby whereby thousands of fans could congregate and interact before receiving a prompt for the live feed. The band also employed Facebook Live's API to do broadcast quality in real time.
Muse most recently released their latest single "Dig Down."
