Travis Barker is busy working on a new album despite a broken ankle.

The Blink-182 drummer revealed the news of the injury sustained earlier this month on Instagram.

He posted a video footage of his studio performance with the caption, "Left foot still works."

On the same social media, Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus published a photo of Barker, captioned, "blink-182 studio life."

Barker, Hoppus and guitarist Matt Skiba have already recorded more than 40 songs for the follow-up to the band's 2016 album, California.

"After playing in this band for 27 years, I want to push it and do different things and take blink to places where we haven't been before," Hoppus said in an interview.

He added, "We're really trying to do that on the new record. We want to do with our band what we did in 2003 with Untitled, where we take our foundations and go off in completely weird directions."
