Bastille has signed on to headline a show to benefit the victims of the deadly fire earlier this month at London's Grenfell Tower housing complex. The show will take place at London's Bush Hall next Tuesday and the band broke news of their participation via Twitter.
Announcing the show on Twitter, the band wrote: "In light of the Grenfell tragedy last week we're part of a small show at @BushHallMusic to help raise money for @Shelter's work."
Many London music luminaries have stepped forward to support the recovery effort including Adele, who also made an appearance at local fire station. Posting on Facebook, firefighter Rob Petty said: "Not everyday the wonderfully grounded and caring Adele pops into Chelsea Firestation for a cup of tea and a cuddle. X"
