Bastille Adds Shows to Tour

Bastille has added shows in West Lafayette, IN, Peoria, IL, San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR to the North American leg of its "Wild, Wild World Tour."


Bastille has added shows in West Lafayette, IN, Peoria, IL, San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR to the North American leg of its "Wild, Wild World Tour." The extensive arena/theatre run will kick off on March 24 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON and include a March 30 show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Citi is the official credit card of the "Wild, Wild World Tour." While on the West Coast, the GRAMMY®-nominated U.K. band will perform at Coachella on April 15 and 22.

Last week, Bastille received four NME Awards nominations and a BRIT Award nomination for Best British Group. "Blame," the second single from the band's new album,Wild World (Virgin Records), impacts radio this week, led by SiriusXM Alt Nation and over 25 early adds at Alternative.The thought-provoking video, which already has more than two million views, can be viewed HERE. Rolling Stone observed, "The Elliott Sellers-directed clip opens with philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche's words: 'What can everyone do? Praise and blame. This is human virtue, this is human madness.' That duality of misguided faith and not taking responsibility is touched upon both in the clip and in the song's lyrics."

"Good Grief," the first single from Wild World,charted at No. 1on Mediabase's Alternative Airplay chart, becoming the band's second chart-topper at Alternative radio. The 5x Platinum single "Pompeii," from Bastille's 2013 debut album, Bad Blood, topped the Alternative chart for four weeks in the fall of 2013. "Good Grief" has more than 100 million streams globally to date, including over 20 million in the U.S. alone. Views for the official "Good Grief" video exceed nine million.
